Next Sunday, 8th May sees Worfield girls' season get underway with their first match in the Worcestershire Girls U15 League. They have a home fixture v Himley, due to start at 10am. Players are asked to be at Worfield for 9am, giving them the time they need to warm up properly. The team selected to play are:

- 16th June v Quatt, to be re arranged because both clubs' senior teams are involved in cup games that mean their grounds are not available.

Worfield 6-a-side Tournament, Sunday 17th July
- All U13 girls should try to keep this date free as we would like to enter two Worfield teams in to this tournament.
We have entered the Lady Taverner's U15 competition and may have a bye in the county semi-final. I shall advise you of our position in this competition. The U13 county representatives will be found as a result of a match between the winners of the central league v the club that perform best in the festivals to be held between clubs in the north of the county- held in the second half of July. An U11 festival is planned for this summer, with the date and venue yet to be decided. Good luck to all of the teams. I hope all of the girls have an enjoyable summer of cricket, both for the club in a girls' or mixed team and for county teams where applicable.
